She is communications professional with a decade of experience in public relations focusing her work mostly in the cannabis Industry. Right now she is spending time growing her business, social equity initiatives and expanding her healing knowledge in her herbalist apprenticeship program.

Jess Jackson

Jess Jackson, MBA, M.ED is a content marketing strategist and community architect. Her human-centered approach, cultivated by direct service in education, has impacted a wide rage of national and local community-based activism. 

She is co-owner of the content marketing firm, LOUD.social. Since it’s re-launch in the Summer of 2019, LOUD.social has partnered with over 200 local and national organizations within and outside of cannabis. LOUD.Social has also launched a series of community-focused campaigns including:

  • The Garden Party: An educational event aiming to promote urban farming and hemp and cannabis cultivation.
  • Curvy Cannabis: A body positive boudoir session promoting self-love and healing for women.
  • The Midpoint Campout: A weekend long nature-immersive self-care retreat featuring educational workshops on holistic healing practices.
  • Blazing Silence: An educational event to share resources related to workplace discrimination.
  • The Take Off: A self-care and healing expo centering on Black female entrepreneurship.
  • Queer Xpressions: An intimate night of immersive experiences centering on Queer Folx of color.

In addition to her work with LOUD.social, Jess is Owner and Experience Host of Copper House Detroit, a North-west Detroit cannabis+ bed and breakfast. Since opening their doors, Jess & her wife, Cara, have hosted 250+ individuals and brands in their home.

Olivia Christian

Olivia has always had a passion for writing; she spent most of her childhood crafting (corny) song lyrics, short stories, and comedic television scripts. Following her B.A. in Communication & Media Studies from Fisher College and several years of administrative work in both Boston and Los Angeles, her love for writing led her to learn the ins-and-outs of social media and brand marketing. Since beginning this work in 2017, she has collaborated with 20+ brands, creating smart, decisive, and authentic material to combat a digital age of mindless scrolling and copy-cat marketing schemes.

Shivonne F. Jones is a seasoned strategic communications professional who has deep expertise in public affairs issues advocacy, corporate social responsibility, business-to-consumer and non-profit / social cause communications management. With a passion for promoting equitable access and outcomes for marginalized communities, Shivonne’s work with mission-driven clients centers around shaping how influencers “talk about” and “reach” their target audiences. Prior to launching her own consultancy, Shivonne worked for several public relations agencies including Brunswick Group, Glover Park Group, and Porter Novelli on a range of clients, such as the National Football League, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Pivotal Ventures, and Ford Motor Company.

Shivonne earned her Bachelor of Acts from Howard University and a Master’s in Public
Relations / Corporate Communications from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

She helps foster relationships with advertisers that are looking to leverage influencers in their campaigns and ensure ROI, whether it’s for a huge social media awareness play or to attribute real sales inside store locations. In her work with global brands and non-profit organizations, Tiffanie seeks to edify this space by educating teams on the value of social account intelligence and audience analytics when working with influencers and celebrities.
